Beto's Independence Fund

Hello, my name is Alberto del Moral. 

I have started this campaign to regain my independence both mentally and finacially. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support. 

I was dignoised with multiple sclerosis at age 20. Since then, I have fought really hard to keep my independence even in the face of the challenges I constantly encounter due to this to this illness. 

I live in New York City with my cat Pepito. I feel very grateful for the life I have and make the best of each and every day. But in recent years,  it has become very difficult for me to remain independent. I require 24-hour assistance because I have lost my ability to walk and to use my hands. So the most basic daily tasks have become impossible on my own. 

It's my goal in life to help others and it's taken me a long time to feel comfortable with asking for help myself. The money from this campaign will help me pay for the services/care I need and to get out in the world and continue to be a good force to those who need it. 

I have many hopes and dreams. Thank you for helping me acheive them. Your kindness means the world to me.
