Beth's Health and Wellness Fund

We are starting this gofundme page for our sister Beth.  She is very dear to our heart and although she wouldn't want to accept the help, we know that people helping people is the way God moves in our lives.

Right now her need is financial, for both medical expenses and her living expenses.  Last year she had two strokes that since then have caused her to have severe headaches and more recently unusual lumps forming on her head.   After several tests by local doctors, she was referred to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville.  They discovered a mass on her brain.  Last week she suffered another TIA (mini stroke) and will be seeing a neurosurgeon at the Mayo Clinic to discuss next steps.  

She has been out of work due to the dibilitating headaches and side affects that have caused her to fall and be off balance.  As you can imagine the medical costs are high for the level of attention she needs to get well.  In addition being out of work is also causing a lot of stress with the worry of paying rent and general living expenses.   It's a tough trade off to decide between, medical care, rent and even food.  This is not a situation any of us would want to fall into but unfortunately it happens to the best of us and for most of us, it's hard to take or ask for assistance.   She would never ask in this way but we are doing it for her as a way to show her that she is loved and we know her well enough to know she would be the first one to lend a hand for someone else.

Our belief is that we are meant to help one another as best we can in whatever way we can, whether that's financially, emotionally or sharing a meal, etc.   Please consider a gift in whatever amount you can.
