Funeral Expenses for Patricia Anne Bethel

Donation protected
Our dear friend Stef lost her mother, Patricia Anne Bethel this week. Because Stef has to shoulder much of the responsibility of paying for funeral expenses, we are taking donations as a way to honor her mother, a lovely person who will be missed, as well as support our good friend.

If you can, please make a donation and feel free to leave a comment.

We love you Stef.

Comments from those who knew Patricia:

I have so many good memories of Trish.  She had such a willful and mischievous spirit. She was one of those people who was full of spunk and always knew how to make you laugh.  I remember having the best fish sandwiches with her and how she never went anywhere without her gallon sized cup of sweet tea. She was so full of love...She loved Stef, she loved her little furry companions, she loved the ocean and the peace she found there.  I know I'm one of the lucky ones in this world to have been loved by "Momma Bethel" and to have loved her in return.  Momma Bethel, you will certainly be missed.  I'm grateful for all of the warmth and light you shined into my life.  May you be at peace by the sea.

From Katie Crozier-Theis:
I will always remember that Easter weekend we spent with Stef\'s mom during our Junior year at Wesleyan. So much spunk and spirit, so much hospitality... so much love for Stef and her friends.

I can\'t get Trish\'s mischievous eyes, smile and laugh out of my mind. She was so playful, funny and full of love and life despite all of the pain she lived with daily. I see her spark in Stef, the way her inner child is so alive and playful. She loved Stef so dearly and was so proud of her. I remember the way she beamed the day Stef graduated from grad school. She was one proud mama. She loved her frisky kitties, racing around on her scooter, shocking people with the wild things that would come out of her mouth, and of course the ocean. I see her lounging in total peace at the sea.and keep thinking about a quote that I know is special to Trish and Stef: \"The cure for everything is salt water: sweat, tears or the sea.\"
