Beth Young Medical Expenses

As many know, Beth was hospitalized for 6 weeks due to infections on her scalp and in her brain. The infections stemmed from the metal plates she had placed during her last brain surgery 6 years ago. During this hospitalization, she underwent 2 extensive surgeries to remove 2 of the plates and attempt to clean out the infected areas. She was placed in ICU for a short time following both surgeries and was then sent to a rehabilitation facility in the hospital. Unfortunately, due to the poor tissue integrity resulting from her previous radiation, she has not healed as we all had hoped. The pockets of infection in her brain are still present despite intense IV antibiotic therapy and are causing a steady decline in her health. Beth was not in favor of another surgery or any further treatment measures so we are honoring her wishes and are bringing her home to receive hospice care. 
Please consider donating to help us cover the cost of hospice and to help offset the medical expenses that have been incurred during her hospitalization. Unfortunately hospice will not be covered under her insurance plan. Thank you all.
