I have decided to take on a few challenges in Mad March. One is to run 10k for Almost Home Dog Rescue. I have always found running really hard and certainly have never run this type of distance, nor have I ever completed a fund raiser before. Since moving to the area I have volunteered for Almost Home and soon after adopted my amazing Beth. This dog rescue is a very small family run business. They care for and understand the dogs more than anyone I have ever met. Each dog that arrives gets the love, care and attention it quite rightly deserves. They are looked after and trained until they are ready to be adopted into their forever home.  These homes are very carefully selected so that the dog doesn’t have anymore disruption to its life. This family have dedicated their lives and home to all the dogs the save and it’s incredible to see the amazing journeys of these dogs to find happiness. Some dogs are also in forever fosters, these tend to be those that need special care which the Rescue funds in full. I am pushing hard with my training to get round the full 10km, so please donate to help these dogs and this incredible family with their fantastic work.
