MPAC's Best Seat in the House

McKinney Performing Arts Center (MPAC) asks for your help to make the Courtroom Theater seats a comfortable experience for all patrons. The Best Seat in the House fundraiser aims to replace worn seat cushions with new, custom-made seat cushions.

The goal is to raise $7,000 beginning April 1 and ending on May 30.

We already have a generous commitment from The Shuma Family and a matching donation from CA, Inc., and we need the community's help to reach our goal.

The new durable and long-lasting theater seat cushions are custom-designed to fit the original courtroom theater seats from 1927. The design will preserve the look and historic integrity of the Old Collin County Courthouse while enhancing the comfort and entertainment experience of all patrons.

All donations are welcome, but four levels of participation come with a bonus.

*  $350 – “Join the Jury” – Brass name plate on a chair, name on the website
*  $175 – Personalized name tag attached to a cushion, name on the website
*  $75 – Two tickets to any Friday Night Flicks movie and a popcorn voucher, name on the website
*  50 - Name on website
