Bessies Heart

My little sister Bessie, mother and brother moved with me to Co a little over a week ago. Bessie who's 5 years old fell ill just a few days after being here. After 4 days of a fever we took her to Memorial Hospital here in Colorado Springs. We were there for 7+ hours and every test came back negative.... the Dr's assumed it was just a virus and that we just needed to continue keeping her fever down. Right before being discharged they decided to take another blood sample to do a blood culture. We went home and the next day she progressively got worse. Body shakes, discoloration, and couldn't walk without screaming in pain. My mom finally got a call from Memorial. They told us to bring her back asap. After bringing her back they informed my mom that Bessie had bacteria in her blood and that she had to be put on IV antibiotics have further testing and be admitted into the hospital.
Today 2/13 due to a heart murmur and more testing they found out that the bacteria has gotten to her heart. They also had to sedate her and do a MRI to see the damage to her legs. they will be moving her to Denver in the morning.
I am creating this page in hopes to take a little stress off of my mother. She her self is battling a terminal illness, and could use all the help and support she can get. If you can't donate please share and pray for Bessie and my mom.
