Bessie Carmichael School PTA aims to positively impact the lives of students and families of Bessie Carmichael PK-8 School/Filipino Education Center, a public school that is located in the heart of South of Market District in San Francisco, CA and serves almost 700 students at its elementary and middle school campuses.
In previous years, Bessie Carmichael School PTA activities and events were supported by community action grants and money raised from fundraising activities. These included the Winter Holiday Dance, Spring Carnival, School Smarts Academy, Teachers Appreciation and Parents Workshops. However, with the ongoing budget cuts in the school district we need to be more proactive in our fundraising efforts.

We are raising $10,000 for a Community Fund that will support activities related to family engagement and to enrich students' learning experiences. Kindly consider donating to our PTA. Any amount would be greatly appreciated in getting us towards achieving our goal.
