Beryl Turner Memorial Fund

Beryl Turner was a doting Husband, Chicago House DJ, Convention Runner, friend and found family for a lot of people. He was a Core member of HSE (Halsted Street Entertainment) and SecDiv security team. He helped start and run many conventions across the Chicago land area and the rest of the Midwest.  He was most well known for his calming demeanor, sure headedness, amazing skills reading a room (whether it be behind the decks or heading his security teams) and his infectious smile. 

Sadly he was called to the other side on Thursday October 17th when he suffered a Heart Attack. Leaving behind his loving with Brandi and many who call him family. 

Many years ago a pact was made between the boys of HSE that who ever passed on the rest were to put on a memorial big enough that they could hear it even over the rainbow bridge! We are looking to do that now! The funds we are looking to secure will help us to lock down a venue and put on an open invite event for all those who loved and admired him can come and celebrate this great mans life. All funds not used will go to his wife and towards his final request to be cremated and then sent into space.  We know he touched the lives of so many people who have spread all over they world with his stories, jokes and music and are looking to put this on with enough notice that any and all can set up travel arrangements to be with us! So please if you can donate or share this so others can! Help us spin the decks in his honor one last time and show him just how much we all care for him and will miss his light.
