Bertie arrived with us as an emergency just a couple of days before Christmas. He had been placed into an emergency boarding kennels by social services as his owner was no longer able to care for him and conditions at home were dire. Social services reached out to us and we immediately agreed to offer Bertie a lifeline. We adore our senior terrier and immediately set about arranging transport into rescue. After an epic journey up from Kent Bert walked in and immediately made himself straight at home. He is the most gorgeous nature boy, good with all people and dogs.

Bert needs a full MOT health wise. We will be running bloods, he desperately needs a BIG dental, vaccinated and neutered. This is all booked in for the new year and for now he remains comfortable and happy in himself on pain meds. We are truly honoured to have Bertie and he will make the most lovely addition to the right family once recovered and ready for adoption.

We appreciate this is a very expensive time of year for all.

We have popped a go fund me up for those that have asked about contributing towards his care. Every penny helps. Rescue doesn't take the holidays off and the show must go on as they say.
