Bernie was a proud man, but he wouldn’t want to leave Leanne with the financial burden of his funeral costs.

Bernie was a well known and loved member of our community. Those who knew Bernie know just how deeply he loved his family, his friends, and the community that surrounded him. He was the kind of person who would give his time and help to anyone who needed it.

His passing has left a space that cannot be filled, and while we grieve, we also want to come together in the same spirit of generosity that he carried throughout his life.

We are asking for help to support his partner, Leanne, as she navigates the unexpected costs that come with laying Bernie to rest. Funerals are expensive, and no one should have to shoulder that weight alone—especially after losing the person they loved most.
