Bernie Tanguma's power wheelchair

Bernie Benavides is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of bernardo Tanguma.

The chair that he has right now, he got when he was a sophomore in high school. He out grew it already and needs some work. He was supposed to get a new one last year but for some reason the company took very long to process it and he aged out of the insurance he had.

He doesn’t have insurance because he was born in Mexico. He was born a few months premature while his mother was visiting relatives there.

He is liked by his peers and everyone around him. He has volunteered to coach flag football.

We are trying to raise some money to buy him a new power wheelchair before school ends. We got in touch with a company and they have one that cost about $10k.
