Berlin Under A Staff Fundraiser

Hey friends and family of Berlin,

As many of you know, most of the staff at Berlin have lost all of their income with no notice due to the CoronaVirus outbreak.

With no end in sight to the shut down and any realistic government aid at least a month out, we feel the need to ask for some financial aid and/or moral support for the staff. Additionally, the unemployment website and phone lines are backed up - many have spent days on end trying to file and with no luck. 

I want to say a few words about my staff. Not only are they some of the fiercest, most hard working and intelligent people I’ve ever known, but they are also all exceptional friends. In this time of crisis, they have been my support system. 

I know that I am not the only person that has laughed, cried, sang, and rocked out with them. These are the people that make your shows happen, and your friends shows. The people that try to keep rock n’ roll alive in the East Village. The people that book the bands, that pour the drinks, that make sure local artists can still make a buck. 

It’s for these reasons that I’m asking that you donate if you are in a place of financial stability. If you can’t afford to donate, any and all words of encouragement are appreciated. 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the staff.
