<div>am 27.9 werde ich an der Startlinie stehen, um den Berlin Marathon 2026 zu laufen. 
</div>
<div>Diesen Anlass möchte ich nutzen, um Spenden zu sammeln für das NävusNetzwerk e.V und das Kinderkrankenhaus Wilhelmstift.
</div>
<div>Und wieso das ganze? Ich möchte etwas zurückgeben. Unsere kleine Tochter Zoe (5) wurde mit CMN (kongenitaler melanozytärer Nävus) geboren, einer seltenen Erkrankung der Haut (1:20000 Kindern sind betroffen), weswegen sie in den ersten 4,5 Jahren ihres Lebens sehr viele Operationen über sich ergehen lassen musste. Die Diagnose bekamen wir direkt nach der Geburt, welche auf eine unkomplizierte Schwangerschaft folgte. Es war ein riesiger Schock, damit hatten wir überhaupt nicht gerechnet. Und was ist CMN überhaupt? Was bedeutet das für unsere Tochter, für uns als Familie? So viele Sorgen und die Unbeschwertheit, der Zauber der ersten Stunden nach der Geburt waren verschwunden.

<div>Glücklicherweise kam sie in Hamburg zur Welt, wo wir direkt ins Kinderkrankenhaus Wilhelmstift überwiesen wurden und seitdem in Behandlung sind. Prof. Roldán hat unsere Tochter das erste Mal operiert als sie vier Wochen alt war. Dort sind wir seitdem Stammgast auf der Station 8. Das Krankenhaus-Team hat alles getan, damit es Zoe gut geht. Überhaupt - das Personal im Wilhelmstift ist unglaublich fürsorglich und tut alles für die kleinen Patienten und Patientinnen. Und ist leider - wie alle Kinderkliniken -  unterfinanziert und auf Gelder angewiesen, um den Kindern den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten (z.B. werden so die Klinik Clowns, Kunstprojekte und ähnliches für die Kinder finanziert und Spielgeräte angeschafft). Unsere Tochter wird und wurde dort so gut umsorgt - nun möchte ich etwas zurückgeben!

<div>Auch das NävusNetzwerk e.V. stand uns von Anfang an mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, half uns mit der Diagnose umzugehen, vermittelte Kontakte zu anderen Betroffenen und medizinischen Experten und nahm uns die Angst vor CMN. Das Nävus Netzwerk ist eine wichtige Anlaufstelle und Community und leistet unglaublich gute Aufklärungsarbeit zum Thema CMN - und ebenfalls komplett auf Spenden angewiesen.

<div>Ich bin leidenschaftliche Läuferin, schon immer. Ich wollte schon immer den Berlin Marathon laufen und dies mit einer Spendenaktion verbinden. Und nun ist es soweit:
</div>
<div>alle Spenden werden zu gleichen Teilen an das Kinderkrankenhaus Wilhelmstift in Hamburg und das Nävus Netzwerk e.V. weitergegeben.

<div>Ich freue mich über jede Unterstützung und ganz besonders auf den 27.9. - an dem Tag werde ich für alle Kinder mit CMN und alle kleinen Patient:innen des Wilhemstifts - sowie unsere Tochter Zoe - laufen.

<div>Dear all,

<div>On September 27, I will be standing at the starting line of the 2026 Berlin Marathon. I want to use this occasion to raise money for two causes that are very close to my heart: NävusNetzwerk e.V. and Kinderkrankenhaus Wilhelmstift in Hamburg.

<div>And why am I doing this?
</div>

<div>I want to give something back.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our little daughter Zoe (5) was born with CMN, a rare skin condition that meant she had to undergo numerous surgeries during the first four and a half years of her life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We received the diagnosis immediately after her birth, following what had been a completely uncomplicated pregnancy. It was a huge shock — something we had never expected. What exactly is CMN? What would it mean for our daughter? What would it mean for us as a family?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Suddenly, there were so many worries. The carefree feeling and magic of those first hours after giving birth disappeared almost instantly.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thankfully, Zoe was born in Hamburg, where we were immediately referred to Kinderkrankenhaus Wilhelmstift, and where she has been receiving care ever since. Professor Roldán performed her first surgery when she was just four weeks old. Since then, Station 6 has become almost a second home to us.
</div>

</div>
<div>The entire hospital team has always done everything they could to make sure Zoe was okay. In fact, the staff at Wilhelmstift are incredibly caring and go above and beyond for their young patients. Unfortunately, like so many children’s hospitals, Wilhelmstift is underfunded and relies on donations to make the hospital experience as comfortable as possible for children — for example, donations help fund the clinic clowns, creative art projects and play equipment.

<div>Zoe has been cared for so incredibly well there, and now I want to give something back.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The NävusNetzwerk e.V. has also supported us from the very beginning. They helped us navigate the diagnosis, connected us with other families affected by CMN and with medical experts, and helped take away some of the fear and uncertainty surrounding CMN.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The NävusNetzwerk is an important source of information, support and community. They do incredibly valuable work raising awareness and providing information about CMN — and they rely entirely on donations to do so.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have always been a passionate runner. Running the Berlin Marathon has been a dream of mine for a long time, and I always wanted to combine it with a fundraising campaign.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And now the time has finally come.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All donations will be split 50:50 between Kinderkrankenhaus Wilhelmstift in Hamburg and NävusNetzwerk e.V.
</div>

<div>I am grateful for every bit of support — and especially looking forward to September 27. On that day, I will run for all children living with CMN and for all the little patients at Wilhelmstift — just like our daughter Zoe.
