<div>My name is <strong>Ben Tyree</strong>. I am a guitarist based in NYC who has been active in the music industry since the mid-90s. I have worked with tons of amazing artists and traveled all over the world. Since 2018, I have led the psych-jazz <a href="https://www.bentyree.net/s/Activator-One-Sheet2.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Activator Trio</strong></a> with <strong>Leon Gruenbaum</strong> and <strong>Chris Eddleton</strong> and it's high time we record our debut album (to be titled either <em>The Language of Light </em>or <em>Magic for Musical Misfits</em> - you decide!). We played a bunch of shows in 2025 and the music is really ready to go.

<div>Since independent artists and labels survive month to month, by hook or by crook, I will need a good chunk of change to get this next album out there. This next effort will represent my life's work as a musician and guitarist and it is important that I record and release in order to move this journey forward.
