This is to raise money for Benton Dene Primary School after a number of bikes were stolen from their sheds.

Re - damage and theft from school

Dear Parents/Carers

We are deeply upset this morning to discover that a number of sheds around our school have been damaged and broken into. The perpetrators have also stolen a significant number of bikes which our children have been using as part of our OPAL play scheme.
It is particularly disheartening to report this theft because many of you and our staff have donated these bikes and we have been working incredibly hard over the last 2 years to extend the children's play equipment.

The theft has been recorded as a crime with the police and we have contacted the High School who has CCTV coverage of the site where the bikes were moved off our premises (behind our Yurt) and into the High School field.

If ANYONE knows anything about this crime or if you recognise any of the bikes (pictured below), please could you contact the school office as soon as possible [email redacted].uk

Many Thanks,

Jill Wraith
