Support Ben's fight against ALS

10 years ago Ben lost his mom, Cindy, to ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. He was 10 years old.  After his mom passed he and his brother and sister were taken in and have since been lovingly cared for by their mother's sister, Carrie Lynn.  

Last Tuesday after having numerous tests for some concerning symptoms, Ben was given the devastating news that he too has ALS.  This is a crushing blow for a family who has already lost a family member to this terribly awful disease.  

Ben's already experiencing many symptoms and his Aunt and Uncle are planning to take him on a trip to Florida at the end of March before his mobility becomes more of an issue.  I would like to help them with this expense...and even more if we can to help alleviate the medical expenses.

This summer the Ice Bucket Challenge shed alot of attention on ALS...it's a terrible disease that has now struck this family twice.  Even the smallest donation will show a young man who's already expierenced the unspeakable tradgedy of watching his mother die at the hands of ALS, that there is kindness, compassion and generosity in this world that will help make the rest of his time here with us joyful.
