How oft we take for granted our relationships and our health, till we realise how little we control we have and what we may lose;

My name is Madison Sloane and recently my 19 year old brother Benjamin was diagnosed with an aggressive form of bone cancer. Ben is a gentle giant with a warm smile and a jovial demeanour but understandably the recent revelations have been shattering. I know he would do anything for his family and friends and that is why I am initiating this way to assist him financially as he starts down this path.

The tumour is located on his pelvic bone which is not only excruciatingly painful but has had a very real impact on his mobility. Ben or ‘Benny’ as he's known to his co-workers and mates has had to put his landscape apprenticeship on hold whilst he gets treatment and at this stage even that path remains unclear.

Funds raised will assist Ben with medical bills and hope to ensure that finances aren't a concern when seeking out all and any treatment options.

This is an assault on Ben both physically and emotionally and as one of his immediate family we will being doing everything possible to support him in these areas. A reality of being ill is its costs and I plead with you for any financial support to ensure that at no point financial concerns become relevant. Ben and the entire Sloane family are grateful for any kindness and support.
