Ben's Fight against Cancer

It all started after a surgery in September 2015, in which my dad was expected to recover within two weeks. Two weeks passed, and my dad had gotten worse, as he was getting weaker, having trouble walking and fell multiple times. Within the past few months several tests were conducted in hopes of finding the cause of this. Unfortunately, all tests came out negative which had my family in complete agony. It wasn’t until after his brain biopsy that the Doctors were able to diagnose him with stage 4 Intravascular Lymphoma—a rare cancer of the blood (1 in a million). This cancer has affected his brain, and spinal cord leaving his right leg immobile. Having that, he is unable to walk. Transferring from Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital and UC San Francisco, to the various procedures done, and future chemo treatments, medical bills have been adding up profusely which has led me to create this GoFundMe page to help my mother, the main provider of this family. We have insurance, but it can only cover so much. I am reaching out to all my family and friends; anyone who is willing to help.
