Bennett's Fighting Leukemia

Donation protected
Life can change in the blink of an eye...
Thursday night Sam was brushing Bennett's teeth for bed and noticed they would not stop bleeding.  He also had some bruising which is not abnormal for this rough and tumble 22month old. They called and were instructed to bring him to the ER.
From lab draws and tests Bennett was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Type B Stage 2. This is the most common childhood leukemia.  He has already started chemo-therapy and this sweet boy is facing a very long road. He has a very intense schedule of chemo that will last 3 1/2 years.   All of that is totally worth it, the success of cure rate is 85%.
Sam and TJ have not left Bennett's side, Sam will be taking a leave of absence from work. The medication regime for A.L.L. Is very intense, many medications given multiple times each day.  This amazing life saving treatment will of course be extremely costly, the Young's have insurance but the co-pays is very expensive for a newly one income family. Please consider helping if you are able.
Bennett is a special boy, a truly happy and playful kid it is hard to see him stuck in the hospital bed. Seeing his brother Bradley causes a rare smile which we all are happy to see. Thank you for taking time to read Bennett's story.
