Benji's Health Harbor

Benji was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes this week. He is resilient, goofy, and still a bundle of crazy. However, he is now dealing with a disease that has no cure and requires constant management. We have a wonderful care team and wonderful family and friends. We have applied for disability back up health insurance for him. However, we have high deductible insurance and there are things that are not covered and some one time costs such as containers for meds, ID bracelets, etc...that we are ordering to prepare for our return to regular life and back to school. As we have a new business and are preparing to welcome a new baby, a small donation to help us cover expenses and add to our HSA for future expenses that we don't know yet like moving to an insulin pump and or any crisis due to an illness this winter.
