Benjamin's Elbow Surgery

Background on Ben:
9 months ago, Ben was found at a local park, in a box that said "Take Me." We were only taking him so that we could find him a home. He was very tiny and too close to a street. But we fell in love! He has been a great addition to our family.
What's going on:
Our poor baby must've landed wrong during his rambunctious kitten adventures. He broke his elbow! He looks so pitiful and sad. We are all completely heartbroken.
Ben's Xrays and sedation cost $200
His pain meds an approximate additional $100
We are trying to avoid amputation. But because of the severity of the break, the alternative is he would need elbow surgery. This has been quoted at $3,000 - $4,000 (on top of the other cost) Totaling up to $4,300.
(We would prefer to not amputate but we can ony do what we can afford and what is best for Ben)
This is a huge unexpected event and expense. I was laid off from work, and I’m in grad school full time, on top of being a single mom and the holidays, my “sob story” can go on for days. I hate to even have to make a GoFundMe (I am typically too proud to beg) but my children are heartbroken and have asked me to.
Anyone who knows me, knows I give back every time I can, and I will continue to do so. Having to humble myself like this, makes me want to give back even more when I can.
In advance, I cant express my gratitide enough. Any amount helps, and if you cannot donate, I TOTALLY understand, please just say a prayer for my perfect little kitten. We just want him out of pain.
