Benjamin, Kay and Baby Ben

We have both had so many people asking how they can support Ben and Kay.
We wanted to share their story here and also provide an avenue for people to help pour into them if that is on your heart to do so.

Baby Benjamin update- he has a rare heart condition (transposition of the great vessels) that required major heart surgery with in a week of his birth. He underwent over 13 hours of heart surgery this Monday March 1st He will be in the hospital for an estimate of 5 weeks surgery in Portland.

We know that the 5 plus weeks living up in Portland to be close to their new baby will not be easy and neither parent can work during this time.

Our hope and prayer is that we can provide a platform here that will help alleviate some of the financial burden that they will be facing as the emotional burden is already so very high. 

Our ask is that you lift them in prayers, that you keep them in your thoughts and if you are wanting to contribute to them that you do so here and perhaps provide a note of encouragement to them when you do.

Neither of them have a paid medical leave from work. So we would love to be able to provide them a fund that would cover their bills during the two post partum.

Any extra funds would be theirs to use toward medical bills, cost of the time away from work that will be required to care for Baby B through his recovery journey.
