Early Monday morning, October 9th, 2017, my Uncle Benjamin was woken up by a neighbor and told he and his family had to evacuate as the Tubbs Fire was headed their way in Santa Rosa, CA. Thanks to the neighbor and the grace of God, Benjamin and his family got out of their mobile home before the fire engulfed their home.
My name is Jesus Gonzalez and I am the nephew of Benjamin Martinez. I am from Santa Rosa but living in Sacramento. Today, I am asking on behalf of his family, if you have an money to spare, to give a donation to my Uncle Benjamin Martinez and his family. We are awaiting response from the insurance companies on their home and their vehicle. However, they lost everything else: clothes, food, appliances, photos, etc. The Martinez family is safe and sound and living with family for now. The family includes his wife, Maria, 11 year old daughter and 2 year old son. Any donation is greatly appreciated as they can start the next chapter of their lives. These funds will be spent on clothing, school supplies for the children and other expenses that may arise. Thank you for your time.
En la madrugada del 9 de Octobre, 2017, my tio Benjamin fue despertado por un vecino para decir que venia el incendio Tubbs en su direccion en Santa Rosa, CA. Gracias al vecino y gracia de Dios, Benjamin y su familia salieron antes que el fuego consumiera su hogar.
Hoy, les pido, de parte de ellos, si pueden ayudar a mi Tio Benjamin Martinez y su familia. Todavía estamos esperando la respuesta de la aseguranza sobre el hogar y su vehículo, pero perdieron todo lo demás: ropa, comida, recuerdos, etc. Todos están sanos y salvos y viviendo con familia. La familia incluyen su esposa, Maria, hija de 11 años y hijo de 2 años. Las donaciones son para comprar rompa, panales, cosas para la escuela, y cualquiere costo que tengan.
