Benefit for Brandon

Brandon Watson had just returned from annual training with the North Carolina Army National Guard. Upon return he wasn’t able to sleep at the armory like he normally would and instead drove home. An hour and a half later he was paralyzed from a car wreck. He low crawled and drug himself through briars and fire ants for 8+ hours and close to 70 meters without the use of his legs until finally getting the attention of a train conductor when the sun came up who called local police who eventually found him. We don't know what the future holds but as of now he has had an operation to repair the spine and free the pinched spinal cord. He is paralyzed from the waist down and is in a wheelchair currently going through rehabilitation in Atlanta at the Shepherd Rehabilitation Center. There will be costly modifications needed to his home. He will need an adaptive vehicle which are very expensive and insurance won't cover but will be a necessity to continue with life. He won't be able to work, he was a tile setter and now he can’t do that anymore but he has a wife and 3 yr old daughter who he needs to be able to provide for.
