Late afternoon Sunday, tragedy struck one of my best friends and her family in Madisonville, LA. Their house caught fire and it seems they have lost everything. They just bought this lifetime and permanent home only a few months ago. It was their dream home.
The outpour of help and support from family, friends and the rest of the community has already been an absolute blessing. Now begins a long road ahead of them making their house a home again and building their lives back up. "There are no great people in this world, only great challenges which ordinary people rise to meet."
