Benefit Match in Max Mason's Honour

Laytown United FC along with Donacarney Celtic FC are hosting a Benefit match in Seafield Laytown on Saturday 14th April at 2pm in Memory of Max Mason, who tragically lost his life following a road traffic accident on the 20th of March at just 17 years of age . All proceeds raised on the day will go towards a Memorial for Max and the remainder will be donated by Max’s mam, Tracy to her chosen charity JIGSAW. This organisation represents something that is very close to both hers and Max's hearts and is an organisation which Tracy would like to highlight for all the great work they do for adolescents in the community
JIGSAW is the National Centre for youth mental health. The organisation cater for individuals between the age of 12-25. Jigsaw believe that a better life is possible for the hundreds of thousands of young people across Ireland facing mental health difficulties. They passionately believe that with the generous donations from communities, early intervention, together with support and prevention, it can make a massive difference to the mental health of Irelands young people. Jigsaw’s work is underpinned by six values of which include valuing young people, showing compassion, being progressive, acting with integrity, work collaboratively and being driven by evidence of current mental health issues and interventions required.
Laytown United FC is kindly asking everyone to come out and show their support to what promises to be a fantastic tribute to honour Tracy’s wonderful son Max.
With the unprecedented generosity of the many local businesses and members of the community who have made donations towards the event, there will be a gigantic raffle on the day, where tickets can be purchased at the pitch. Don’t hold back to be in with the chance of winning one or more of the fantastic amount of prizes up for grabs, which includes a €1,000 holiday voucher which is being donated by Tracy and her Family.
