Benefit for Kevin Allende

With permission of his family, a fundraiser to help  Kevin Allende pay for medical expenses. Kevin was involved in a serious accident on the night of Sunday November 3rd. He and his friend, Andrew Martinez, were struck by a drunk driver on the corner of Camino Alire and West Alameda in Santa Fe. It is with deep sadness to say that Andrew "Wake Self" Martinez did not survive his injuries. Kevin has undergone numerous surgeries to address his serious injuries. He will need many months to recuperate. Those of us who have met Kevin know that he is a strong, determined and spiritual person who will overcome any and every obstacle put before him. We are asking assistance that will go directly to his mother Nilia, who has been by his side from the very beginning. I, Luis Peña, am a friend of Kevin. We met while organizing youth events in the Española Valley. We have remained friends throughout the years, and recently he helped me paint a mural for my Dad on his birthday. The proceeds of this GoFundMe will be deposited directly into my personal banking account and I will be withdrawing cash to deliver to Kevin and his mother Lilia. This has been discussed with Kevin and his family, is understood and has been agreed upon as the quickest way to provide financial resources to the family.
