Benefit for Jimmy Cavanaugh

For all you boppers out there...

It’s time to come together. A contributing member of the Twin Cities Hip Hop community; our dear friend, Jimmy “DJ Adatrak” Cavanaugh was recently diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Since then, he has undertaken six months of chemotherapy treatment. A tiresome rollercoaster of both mental and physical strain with seemingly no end. Jimmy endured the process and continues to progress back to full health today. Subsequently, he realized that life isn’t promised to you and to make the most out of it. Every day is a new opportunity.

With that said, this new outlook on life comes at a price. A price that most people diagnosed with cancer are far too familiar with. Jimmy is no exception, and with an upcoming bone marrow transplant looming, the mountain of bills continues to grow. Along with the support of Jimmy’s family and friends, we are coming together like Voltron in order to counter the financial burden this disease has caused our friend.



With a benefit event scheduled for September 16th, 2018, at Pimento Rum Bar in Minneapolis, and a GoFundMe page activated, we will reach our goal of $20,000.

After the benefit event, we will continue to run the GoFundMe page indefinitely...
