UPDATE 8/19/15- Thank you all for your generous donations and for helping us meet our initial $10k goal in an unbelievably fast way! We thought “why not keep the ball rolling?”, so we upped it another $5000. This added money will help Ben pay for ongoing genetic testing that helps the doctors target the mutations and ensure that Ben is on the best treatment possible!

Ben Carlsen, our good friend and former beloved Snowmass Ski Patroller, was recently diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer. With the high costs of travel and medicine, we are asking that you help Ben to make expenses one less thing to worry about. Ben was a member of the Snowmass Ski Patrol for 10 years serving as a Snow Safety Coordinator, Avalanche Dog Handler, and EMT. He is now the City Forester for Aspen.
