I recently received an email from gofundme requesting that I add the following information about myself in order to keep the campaign open and to assure donors no one is taking advantage of their generosity.
-My name is Whitney Houser.
-My relation to the parties: I moved to Knoxville in 6th grade where I joined the boys soccer team Beary was on, and ultimately graduated from Knoxville High School with Ben in 2008. We rarely went a day or two without speaking and he was a best friend to so many people. His family is absolutely amazing and has felt like a second family to many of us.
-The funds: Donations will be spent on services and anything else the family needs at this time.
-Who will receive: The ability to withdraw the donations has already been transferred over to his mother.
Thank you, so much, to everyone who has donated, shared this post, or had positive thoughts sent to the Beary family. Words are not enough to describe this loss. We love you and will miss you Ben Beary.
