Shawn Lawsons Fight for Life.

I have decided to make a go fund me for my Aunt Shawn and Uncle Curtis. Shawn has been fighting colon cancer for about two years.  Shawn is a wonderful, caring, loving, and selfless person.  She is kind hearted and carefree and enjoys the little things in life, especially her cats. Shawn and Curtis have been married now for 34 years and they have been hand and hand through this battle.

 After many rounds of treatments and surgeries, she has been given unfortunate news, as the cancer is very aggressive at this point. We will continue to pray for peace and strength through this fight as we know she has the biggest supporter behind her, holding, guiding, giving her the strength to keep fighting. 

 Shawn’s fight is still strong and we know she will keep fighting. However, the situation has led Curtis to take an extended leave of absence from work to be by his wife’s side as she continues to fight. The house bills, medical bills, and continued care is adding up quickly. I’m hoping we can find them some relief through this outreach. 

I’m reaching out to anyone that knows Shawn and Curtis or if you don’t have the pleasure of knowing them to please help us take some of the worry away. Any amount will help and if you are unable to help financially we ask that you say a prayer for her and please share this out so we can reach as many as possible. We are a family of God and the power of prayer is undeniable. 

Also if this finds its way to any family or friends that would like to donate but don’t have the means to do so through go fund me (online) please feel free to reach out to a family member and I will provide anyone with information on how to do so.

Friends and Family are welcome to visit. However, please reach out in advanced to be sure that Shawn is feeling up to it.
