Ben Burford's Fund to Fight Cancer

This is a benefit Surf Fishing Tournament for an awesome young man in Ben Burford. Ben has been diagnosed with colorectal cancer and has recently been informed by his Doctors that he has lifelong battle ahead of him. Fishbites and The Sinker Guy, along with the local Surf Fishing Community, would like to come together in support of one of our own through these tough times.
Ben Burford is the son of Mark and Barbara Burford owner of Florida Surf Angler Rods, Over the Bar Rods and Florida Surf Tackle.
Entry into the Tourney will be $30 and all proceeds will go directly to Ben and his family to help in his fight against cancer. The weigh in will be held at the Fishbites Trading Post and winners will receive some awesome prizes donated by some of the local shops in the area. We'll have live music on the porch along with burgers and dogs. While enjoying the food and music you'll be able to browse all the great items we'll have up for bid at the silent auction. These items will include guided fishing trips from the best in the business, as well as rods, reels and apparel, that will be donated by some of the biggest names in the fishing industry.
