Belton needs a defibrillator (or 2)

Donation protected
Belton, Leicestershire, is a great village - a lovely, friendly place to live, but in one particular way, we're letting some of our residents down.

We don't have a defibrillator within the village.

This life-saving equipment can save valuable time and enhance the life chances and recovery from a cardiac arrest.

The Parish Council are purchasing one to be placed at the Village Hall and we, as a village, have committed to raise enough money to pay them back.

The maximum cost to do so will be £2200, including training and installation, but we don't think we should stop there.  Let's get the money for one and then look at getting another.

These two machines could very well be the difference between life and death. Cardiac arrest can happen to anyone at anytime.

There will be a number of fundraising events organised, but if you feel you'd like to give something please do, if you give up just one of your daily cappuccinos and donate £3 we will have the money in no time.
