BELOW THE BELT - Film about TEENAGERS and HIV
'Below the Belt' follows 5 teenagers after one of them learns they have HIV. It explores their relationships, their struggles, their insecurities, their falling outs and how one thing can impact their lives in different ways.

Who are we?
Mitch (Director/Writer/Producer): I have 8 years of filmmaking experience under my belt. I've created compelling and well made narrative films and have won awards at the Glastonbury Film Festival. I've written and am directing Below the Belt and am so excited to start shooting. This project is very special to me and I can't wait to see it through to the end. Making films is what I do, and to be able to get a budget together for this project would help us create something really special.
Elliot Courtiour ('Jack'/Asst. Director/Producer): We've been working really hard on this script and it's great to be getting closer to the shooting dates. I've enjoyed learning so much while doing something I love, in front of and behind the camera. I've been acting for 6 years and have a lot of experience. This film is going to be developed to it's full potential with the help of your donations. STIs are an important topic to explore on film. As well as crafting a compelling and entertaining feature film, we hope we can also shed light on the effects and nature of HIV. We want to do it justice but we can't do this without sufficient funds.
Because everyone involved is donating their time and skills for free, we plan to shoot over the Easter Holidays this year (beginning 26th March). So this means you have until then to donate!
