Beloved Johnson City Teacher Loses Home in Fire

Around 4:00 AM this morning (Monday, July 15, 2019), Ms. Tiffany Collins, PE Teacher at Woodland Elementary School (Johnson City, TN) awoke to a fire in her home. Thankfully, she was able to get everyone out of the house including her beloved dogs. Everyone is safe. Fire ripped through the entire home, and the house is now a complete loss (see pictures below).




In speaking with a number of teachers from across Johnson City who made their way out to the home to help, we have learned that Tiffany is understandably in shock about what has happened to her home. Now she is scrambling to figure out next steps. 

As you can imagine, very little will be salvageable from the home. Essentially, Tiffany is having to start over completely. 

Tiffany has been a beloved member of the Woodland Elementary faculty for many years. As a dedicated PE teacher, she makes a difference daily in the lives of her students! Now it is time for all of us to band together and make a difference in Tiffany's life. 

Funds raised from this GoFundMe page will go directly to Tiffany to help her purchase items she will need to start again and rebuild her life. Please take a moment to give anything you can to help one of our superstar teachers here in Johnson City.
