Beloved father Vang Pao Thao

Please help us in supporting Memorial Services for our beloved father Vang Pao Thao who passed away on May 18th, 2017 with his family by his side, at 63 years old.
Vang Pao will always be remembered as a loving and caring father who always pushed his kids to work hard and strive to be strong and independent. He was a humble and respected leader in his community who dedicated his life to helping to grow his community and build bonds of brotherhood and friendship. His greatest past times was spending time with loved ones, listening to the hmong radio station, and hiking outdoors.
In 2016 he fell ill and was in and out of the hospital with multiple symptoms including a fractured spine, heart failure, and kidney failure. A month ago, after a bone marrow biopsy, he was diagnosed with a type of bone marrow cancer known as Multiple Myeloma. By the time the cancer was found, his body was already too weak to respond to any treatment he was given. Without any other alternatives, last week he was discharged home to be with his family on hospice before departing on May 18th , 2017.
Any contribution towards his Memorial Service is greatly appreciated during this difficult time that has befallen our family. Funeral services will be held on May 27th-30th at the Oroville Southside Community Center in Oroville, CA. Additional information to follow, thank you.
