Bella’s Bells

Donation protected

Four years ago, I had been suffering from mental illness and needed someone to wake up every day to take care of.  I needed somebody to give my life purpose, so I decided I wanted to adopt a dog. When we first met, Bella came right to me and sat on my lap. She kissed my tears away. From then on, she was my baby girl, my best friend, my soulmate, and everything in between. She went to work with me every day and we spent just about all of our moments together. I couldn’t imagine how somebody could’ve given her away- but I was so glad I found her.

Recently Bella had a grand mal seizure and I rushed her to the emergency animal hospital I work at. We did an MRI and Bella was diagnosed with a brain tumor called a glioma.

Bella did well on her seizure medication for two weeks and then the cluster seizures began. Today we are trying one last treatment that may help her, but if this doesn’t work I will have to say goodbye to my baby. I do not want her to suffer and I want her last moments to be at home with her mommy, knowing how much she was loved.

My heart is broken that this has happened and so quickly.  I’m reaching out to see if anyone can donate a few dollars towards my cause to help with her medical bills. I named her cause “Bella’s Bells” because she wears bells on her collar to alert me when she is having a seizure.

Bella has touched my heart in a way I can’t begin to explain. She saved my life and provided me with unconditional love, always.

Thank you for reading our story.
