Bella's Cancer Recovery

Donation protected
Our sweet 6 year old tortie Bella was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma. We rescued her as a kitten from a shelter and she has been an absolute joy in our life. We call her "Bean" because she's our smallest (and youngest) cat, and when she curls up she's just a small little bean. I never in a million years thought I'd be combating cancer with her, let alone asking for money to do it.

We went from thinking she had a cold on my birthday, to getting a cancer diagnosis in the span of 2 days. My husband and I are still reeling and just trying to do our best for our little Bean.

Bella was given a dose of Elspar to jump start the chemo (this medicine starves the chemo cells to prepare for chemo. It's also a test on how her little body can handle chemo) at 6 pm yesterday and has already recovered quite quickly - no more fever and is moving around her kennel on her own.

Our hope is to put her on a chemo drug called CCNU. This is a dose that is given once a month and it has the same life expectancy as normal chemo. This amount is asked to cover the amount of the chemo treatments alone. I am *NOT* asking for help with additional medical bills at this time, your money will go completely to her chemo treatments.

She is our baby. Our entire world. I'm not ready to give her up, and she's ready to fight! I will take any amount of time I can get with her. Every second is a blessing.

Thank you for reading Bella's story and thank you for any donation amount. If you cannot give anything, just hug your furbaby close, that is enough payment for me. ❤
