Bell Corner Defibrillator

Having recently taken part in first aid training with Emergency First Aid Ltd , it was a real eye opener. It was drilled into us, to help an unconscious, unresponsive person you must do all of 2 things: check their airways and perform CPR. I later learnt, that if a defibrillator is used and effective CPR is performed within 3 - 5minutes of cardiac arrest, survival chances increase from 6% to 74%. 

Having my coffee shop (Wynwood Art District) located on one of, if not, the busiest junction in Walthamstow, having a defibrillator can aid and assist everyone within the area. Numerous accidents occur weekly here, there are schools, colleges, cafes and other businesses in close proximity that can benefit from having a defib close by.

Life is something we can not chance and time is not on our side in an emergency, but by having or knowing a defibrillator is at close reach increases all our chances of survival.  Having more people within the community conscious of this medical assistance would be amazing. It is a real simple to use piece of equipment that guides you through the process.
