Belize Disaster Relief

You can make a difference in the lives of the people affected by Hurricane Lisa, which hit Belize on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022, by donating today to Build Belize Inc.

It is too early to assess the actual damage that the people of Belize experienced when Hurricane Lisa hit Belize. As of this hour, thank God, we have not received any information regarding the loss of lives. However, the pictures coming out of Belize tell a horrific tale (see below). Build Belize Inc is working closely with the service organizations and the Ministry of Diaspora Relations in Belize to identify the most affected areas. Furthermore, based on these findings, Build Belize Inc. will be held fully accountable for prioritizing and disbursing your contribution to finance items we identify as immediate and pressing. Please, for your financial support, your kind contribution will go a long way, regardless of how small.

We will also accept donations of nonperishable goods, clothing, toiletries, etc. We are already in touch with most of the Belize freight forwarding companies, who graciously agreed to ship items to Belize. Very soon, we will announce these drop-off points.

We feel it necessary to share with you that there is much need for roofing - zink and 2x4's, plywood and beaver boards. The pictures and stories justify this need.
