Beirut needs us. There is no better time to act than right here, right now. The devastation is incalculable.
On 4 August 2020 an explosion ripped through the heart of Beirut. "The explosion comes at a sensitive time for Lebanon with an economic crisis reigniting old divisions" (BBC). "The Lebanese Red Cross is diverting ambulances from North Lebanon, Bekaa and South Lebanon to Beirut in order to provide support with the rescue and evacuation of patients" (CNN).
All funds will be distributed to the Lebanese Red Cross as well as other verified & vetted NGOs that will assist directly with the impact of the explosion that occurred in the port area of Beirut on 4 August 2020.
