H, my name is Helen. I’m raising the funds we will need to bring my darling husband Stipe home from hospital. He has a degenerative neuromuscular disorder and now needs permanent ventilation and assistive equipment to be able to be diischarged from hospital. His condition is callled generalised muscle dystonia and he has had it since birth. Previously active and working, he is now fully dependent on me for full time 24/7 care. He is ventilated overnight and for 2hrs per day. His condition is progressive and will worsen over time. We have been married 18 yrs and have three beautiful children. I am trying to raise the money we will need to purchase assistive equipment to be able to bring him home with a good quality of life while our children grow up. I have left work to care for him full time. All our family wants to do is surround him with love and keep him as comfortable as possible for these years of his life as his disability progresses.
