Welcome to the sport of Competitive All Star Cheer and our show “Behind the Bow!” - This is not your typical reality series that focuses on negative drama,
highlighting fighting and backstabbing. Our mission is to empower our youth, fight obesity and to show the rewards of hard work, passion and drive. We know these stories will motivate others in many positive ways. Creator Paul J. Higgins, who has been creating sports programming for over 30 years for networks like ESPN, ESPN International, ABC and CBS to name a just a few, is proud to bring you the television series “Behind the Bow!” It’s a positive, captivating and action packed sports documentary series about what it really takes to compete in the sport of All Star Cheer.
We feel this positive, motivating, documentary sports show is just what our youth and families need and want to see today! The feedback we have received so far has been overwhelming and the community is ready for more! We need your monentary support to help continue this important series!
What is “Behind the Bow”: It’s every little girls and boys dream in the sport of All Star Cheer, to work hard enough to not only one day be on a level 5 team but to
place first at the biggest competitions in the country. “Behind the Bow” features OC All Stars, a cheer gym from Orange County, California that is making a name for itself in the sport of cheer in a BIG way! “We’re the OC. Now you know!”
In Season 1 of “Behind the Bow“, we introduced the Coed, level 5 Restricted team SMOKE, a team of incredible talent that is on the rise. Now it’s time for Season 2 and the SMOKE of today. Season 2 of “Behind the Bow” is thrilled to not only feature SMOKE, but also the incredible and talented season of the All Girl, level 5 Worlds team BLACK! Alongside the boys and girls of SMOKE, the two teams are a double threat. This is the journey of a lifetime as SMOKE and BLACK reach for the stars and surpass everyone’s dreams and “Behind the Bow” was there to capture every step along the way!
“Behind the Bow” Season 2 takes you on an incredible ride letting you in on moments behind the scenes, connecting you with the coaches and athletes from
their point of view and sharing with you the intimate, quiet moments in reflection before the teams perform. It is a special season for these two teams and you’ll get to see it and experience all the incredible moments like never before possible. Who can forget BLACK getting their full paid bid to Worlds at Spirit Sports Duel in the Desert! How about SMOKE at NCA in Dallas, TX! Both were remarkable days in the history of OC All Stars! The success of these two teams is fantastic and there are plenty of stories to tell. The stories and action are compelling, life changing and forever memorable. Please help raise money and donate for this positive programming and let these stories be told!
How You Can Help: I know you are eagerly anticipating Season 2 and Season 3! It has already been shot and it’s time for post-production and editing. In order for
these shows to air as soon as possible, your generous contributions will be used to fund production costs associated with the shows, editing (90%) and marketing
(10%) for Season 2 & 3. Additionally we are currently soliciting local and national sponsorships which, when secured, will augment the monies received from this campaign.
We understand that for someone else to believe and support our vision, sometimes you need to see it. Because of this, we have produced Season 1 of “Behind the Bow”. Below you will see the link to the full season, Episodes 1 – 4. Enjoy!
