Domesic Violence Documentary Project

Helping other women is my absolute dream. I was molested by a family member from age 11 until age 16. I literally tried everything to FORGET the things that happened to me growing up. After learning to live with myself from that type of abuse, I was raped at the age of 19 years old. Growing up if I wasn't sexually abused I was physically abused.  The abuse I suffered almost shaped my life for the worse and this documentary is to not only share my story but to also help others get out of similar situations.

I want to share experiences about domestic violence and another type of abuse as a means of learning. This will be a documentary about women who have spent years holding in and suppressing the things that have happened to them behind closed doors. It's until now, that these women have gained enough courage to tell the horrific stories of the things that have happened to them in their own homes by people, who vowed to love and take care of them.  The purpose of this documentary is to share our story with other women as a way of prevention. No one deserves to live their life in fear!
