<div>On August 2, 2022, the community of Chilliwack and the Hartshorne/Des Rochers family lost a beautiful young lady tragically to a motor vehicle incident. Chloe Des Rochers was just a tender age of 19, doing one of the things she loved best... riding her skateboard when the tragic accident occurred. Chloe was a beautiful young lady with big hopes and dreams. Since the beginning of the Covid pandemic, Chloe became a valuable team member at the local long-term care facility, The Cascades. And it was here that Chloe decided to follow in her mother's footsteps to become a health care provider to our most vulnerable population. Recently Chloe was working through the care aide program through UFV to start her career in health care. During the troublesome times of Covid, Chloe brought a shining light to many seniors who only saw darkness as they were isolated from their families. Chloe would play games, paint nails, and spend quality time loving on everybody's Grandma, including her own Great Grandmother Jackie. Chloe became an integral part of the team at the Cascades for team members and the residents. The community will remember Chloe as a bubbly, happy, beautiful young lady with the whole world ahead of her.
