Support BeeZen Therapy Huts

Donation protected

Hello, We are Darrin and Tara owners of Raven Wild Farm, an 8 acre hobby farm located in the small rural community of Delta, Colorado.

Imagine sitting in sitting a cozy sanctuary where you can surrender to gentle vibrations of bees safely separated under you, while breathing in their healing aromas in supporting your mind, body and well-being.

Our mission is to share and provide the space to well-being through the healing powers of bees! However, we need your support to turn our dream into a reality!

What is bee therapy and a bee hut? Bee therapy, also known as apitherapy, focuses on the healing support of bees. BeeZen Huts will focus on the vibrational and aroma essences of bees. Bee huts are a safe small house like structure that separates bees from humans. Think of it as a bee spa or bee sauna. Humans sit or lay on a raised bench/bed in the hut. The hive is located in an enclosed area under the bee bench. The vibrations can be felt and the aromas will raise through the screened wood slots in the bench. Think along the lines of a bee sauna. See photos at bottom of page.

Our Vision:
We envision a simple place in nature on our farm where people find peace in the therapeutic embodiment of bee's vibrations and aromas.

Why Support Us?
By supporting BeeZen Huts, you're not only helping us get started, you're also a part of something much bigger - bringing attention and awareness of apitherapy on a regional to global level. Your help will also contribute to the preservation of bee populations and the environment. These little sacred creatures play a huge part in our world, more than we even realize. BeeZen Huts will use best practices and apply new knowledge learned in honoring the energy of the bees. We will also be weaving in sacred practices, sharing ancient bee culture and other offerings.

With your help, we can:
1) Establish our 1st Bee Therapy Hut and infrastructure
2) Offer bee therapy sessions to all ages and abilities
3) Increase bee therapy awareness locally and globally

How You Can Help:
Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to realizing our vision of BeeZen Huts. Here are some ways you can support us:
1) Make a donation toward $1,600: Your financial support will go towards building our first BeeZen Therapy Hut with a ramp entrance and landscape entry.
2) Spread the word: We need worker bees! Share our campaign with your friends, family, and social networks now to help us reach a wider audience. This is huge! Click below to watch our brief video. Share, like and comment. https://youtu.be/oSRZbPrV1vo
Stay connected, visit our website and sign up for our newsletter here: https://www.beezenhuts.com

3) Volunteer your time: Worker bees are always needed! If you have skills, expertise, building or bee supplies that could benefit our project, we'd love to hear from you.
4) Share this service with someone who could benefit from bee healing therapy (compromised lungs, allergies, neurodiverse people, anxiety, inflammation, heart compromised - more below).

Together, we can create a simple earth-based healing space for people of all ages and abilities.

Thank you for being a part of our journey towards holistic well-beeing and environmental stewardship!

More about Darrin and Tara
Darrin and Tara are cast members of Discovery Channel's Naked and Afraid. They met a year after filming their separate challenges and were brought together by destiny in 2016.

Raven Wild Farm found them August 29th of 2021, the land closing took place on the land Sept 29th and they moved in Oct 29th. The alignment of finding Raven Wild Farm is a pretty spectacular story. More to come on that!

After listening and working with the land, it called to be a place of serenity and healing for many. Since then, Raven Wild Farm has supported people in small group private retreats and healing events through Tara's work with Earth Tantra. Closer to home, the farm has been a place of refuge and healing with family members, close friends and even a variety of animals from raven's to dogs to chickens and more. As we continue to work with the land, lavender and bees are in the forefront of land collective.

Spring of 2022, we acquired our first bee hive from a local friend, sparking Darrin's passion for building his beekeeping skills. As we are delving into the health and spiritual aspects of bees, we are also learning along the way the numerous magic of bee healing. Drawing on Tara's expertise in breathwork, meditation, healing with nature, vibrational work, earth-based tantra and the elements, we are emphasizing holistic connections with nature.

We also give many thank yous to the CSU Grand Junction extension office for all the referrals and navigation around agriculture and business.

Inspiration for our bee huts - building begins by late April. Our bee hut will include a ramp with handrail.
