NWSA - Joe in Japan on Team USA

We are very excited that Joe LeMar has been chosen to represent the USA as a member of the National Wheelchair Softball Association team. The team will be traveling to Japan at the end of June and they are the 1st NWSA team, in their 40 year history, to travel out of the country for a competition.

Joe is a Paralympic gold and bronze medal winner. He is a high school cross country and track and field coach and he currently plays both wheelchair basketball and wheelchair softball.  Joe is also a husband and father of 2 children, ages 14 and 12. 

The funds that we  raise will be put towards travel and accommodations for Joe to attend the team practices in May and June, as well as to fund his travel, expenses, and accommodations to and from Japan for the tournament. 



This is an amazing opportunity for Joe and, as a family, we are very excited to support him in this endeavor. It's vital for children and adults to see that being physically challenged does not mean you cannot continue to compete in sports at a high level. Joe is a role model to many and this is another chapter in his story that he can share with others.
