Bees for the Bay

Help us save a national treasure. Throughout the month of December, we will be raising money for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, the largest independent conservation organization committed to saving the Chesapeake Bay and its rivers and streams.
What is The Bay? “The Bay” is a 64,000-square-mile watershed, extending approximately 524 miles from New York to Virginia, home to more than 18 million people and 3,000 species of plants and animals (and many of our beehives!)
Why does it need saving? The Chesapeake Bay is dangerously out of balance. Due to pollution, extraordinary weather, and habitat loss The Bay and its inhabitants are under serious threat.
You can help. Like the plight of the honeybee, the state of the Chesapeake Bay indicates the larger environmental issue at hand. Join us by doing your part to protect our planet and all of its treasures.
