Help! Bone marrow is only option!
Hello everyone, I am raising money for Ruben (Rubik) Galstyan, an Armenian young man of 29 years old who would like to become 30, 35, 40, maybe even 100. Let's start by trying to become 30.
Last September he was diagnosed with acute Myeloid Leukemia. He then had chemo (from that period is the 2nd photo) and it seemed to be going in the right direction. But unfortunately the horrible disease has returned and his only chance of survival is to undergo a bone marrow transplant as soon as possible.
Only... in Armenia you have to finance that yourself and the costs are 12 million Armenian Dram, which is about 27,000 euros. If you know that Armenia is one of the poorest countries in the world, you will soon realize that hardly anyone can afford that without financial help. About Ruben: He works as an anesthetist, is an only child, very religious, is committed to helping others every day, but now needs the help so badly himself. Hallo allemaal, ik zamel geld in voor Ruben (Rubik) Galstyan, een Armeense jongeman van 29 jaar jong die graag ook 30, 35, 40, misschien wel 100 wil worden. Eerst maar eens beginnen met 30 zien te worden.
Afgelopen September is bij hem acute Myeloïde Leukemie geconstateerd. Hij heeft toen chemo gehad (uit die periode is de 2e foto) en het leek de goede kant op te gaan. Maar helaas is de rotziekte terug gekomen en zijn enige kans op overleven is nu zo spoedig mogelijk een beenmergtransplantatie te ondergaan.
Alleen... in Armenie moet je dat zelf financieren en de kosten daarvan zijn 12 miljoen Armeense Dram, dat is zo'n 27000 euro. Als je weet dat Armenie tot de armste landen van de wereld behoort, weet je ook al snel dat vrijwel niemand dat zonder financiele hulp op kan brengen.
Over Ruben: Hij werkt als anesthesist, is enig kind, zeer gelovig, zet zich dagelijks in om anderen te helpen, maar heeft nu zelf de hulp zo hard nodig. Om zelf een beeld van hem te krijgen: hij is op sociale media te vinden! Help deze jongeman alstublieft om de kans op overleven te vergroten... elke bijdrage, hoe klein ook, is meer dan welkom!
